  • VP/GM Terminal Services

    SUMMARY Responsible for developing the strategic plan in collaboration with the Executive Management Group along with its implementation/execution. Accountable for the profit/loss management and overall day to day activities of the division. Provides leadership, direction and guidance specifically for the Administrative, Operations and Sales efforts to ensure the companies’ goals are met and optimum use of resources is achieved.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. General Management: Responsible for division profit/loss. Reviews and studies staff positions. Makes recommendations as to responsibilities, work flow, task priorities, wages, promotions, and performance evaluation. Prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solution of problems. Issues, interprets and ensures compliance to operating policies. Ensures review and response to internal/external correspondence. Responsible to ensure appropriate training and education on company/client policies, processes and procedures is achieved with personnel, clients and service providers.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE A college degree (4 years) or equivalent in transportation, logistics, business administration, economics or related degree. A minimum of 8-10 years of hands on experience in a corporate business environment, preferably a service industry business. A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory/managerial experience with proven successful results.

  • Drivers – CDL Class A & B drivers

    SUMMARY Drives a vehicle in a safe and efficient manner from warehouse to job site where he/she acts as a crew leader in the loading and unloading of household goods.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs pre-trip inspection of the truck assigned for noted damages, flat or worn tires, and travel worthiness. Assists in the preparation of vehicle before leaving warehouse to assure that all materials are placed on vehicle and that any defects are noted and all fluid levels are checked and taken care of. Drives the vehicle as required, from the warehouse to the job site. Possesses the ability to properly and safely lift, pack, load and unload the vehicle as required. Writes complete and accurate inventory of household contents when required. Performs as the crew leader on the assigned job. Assists when necessary, in any operation of the warehouse. Possess a clean driving record.

  • COD Moving Sales Consultant – Maryland Area

    SUMMARY Solicits transportation services or storage business from homeowners (consumers) and business establishments and estimates packing, crating, moving, and storage costs by performing the following duties. Develops lists of prospective customers from review of publications and contracts with business and real estate firms, providing such information as personnel transfers, home- sales listings and commercial re-locations. Also prepares mailings to potential customers from home sales listings. Calls on regular and prospective customers at home or business establishments and describes services provided by the company. Process telephone orders from accounts requesting relocation services. Examines goods to be moved or stored, estimates cubic feet of storage or shipping space required, furnishings, machinery or other material. Records details on itemized sales contract, such as value and description of goods, packing instructions and charge for each service. Responsible for attaining monthly sales goals, closing ratios and completing sales reports

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
