If your relocation policy offers a guaranteed purchase or a buyer value option, Interstate Relocation Services will manage the sale of the home from listing preparation to closing.

Our home sale services include:

  • Ordering home inspections and appraisals
  • Ordering a market analysis
  • Requesting listing presentations by one or more representatives from our real estate broker network
  • Helping the employee select the best-qualified listing agent
  • Overseeing development of a marketing strategy that includes suggested list price, probable selling price, and terms and recommendations for repairs and/or improvements
  • Updating and maintaining property reviews from individual showings
  • Providing advice during negotiations with potential buyers and/or evaluation of offers
  • Preparing status reports

Temporary Housing

Before a new home is found or ready to be occupied, Interstate’s relocation counselors will secure temporary housing. After thoroughly assessing the needs of the relocating employee, our counselors will find the best possible fit among our local, national, or international housing providers.

Our temporary housing assistance includes:

  • A review and explanation of temporary housing policy benefits
  • Assessment of temporary housing needs and the relocation timeline of the employee
  • Discussion of property type, location, and expense preferences
  • Coordination with local rental communities and interim housing service providers to locate the best available units that will meet both the company and employee's criteria
  • Communication with the employee to address any service or quality deficiencies
  • Direct bill agreements with our temporary housing service providers to reduce out-of-pocket expenses for the employee
